Sandvik Coromant are innovators in the development of precision carbide tooling such as CoroTurn 300, this is an innovative design carrying an eight edged insert (standard CNMG insert has 4 edges). This tool is currently available for steel turning with through coolant as standard (top and bottom nozzle / cooling and chip control).

Metal cutting is a demanding business with a multitude of challenges with the never ending need to improve your production, reduce your cost per part while maintaining quality. Sandvik Coromant has the expertise to help map the processes that will thrust your business forward.

If you’re deep hole drilling, hard part turning, face or shoulder milling, parting and grooving, tapping, thread milling, boring or reaming……, we’d welcome the opportunity to work with you.

Matching the most suited cutting tool and insert geometry with the workpiece material to be machined is important for a productive machining process. Other parameters, such as cutting data, tool path, etc are also vital for a successful result. Our Cutting tool materials, such as cemented carbide, ceramics, CBN, PCD, etc will enable us to help find the optimum solution for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous materials, heat resistant super alloys, titanium and hardened steels.
