Sandvik Coromant introduce online training programme
Always at the forefront of innovation, Sandvik Coromant have today launched a programme of online training courses aimed at improving the skills of anyone involved with machining metal. Sandvik’s stated aim is to continue their commitment to working closely with customers. With this in mind, the online training program has been developed to support customers in finding out more about machining. Customers will learn:
- how to optimize processes and learn new and alternative solutions in tooling and geometries.
- fundamental theoretical and application knowledge in areas such as turning, milling, drilling, boring and tool holding for both indexable and solid round tools.
- about new materials.
- how to upgrade machining and programming skills.
The program offers eight online courses. Customers can view the recordings at any time that is convenient to them. The courses last for approximately 20-30 minutes each. Sandvik Coromant will continue adding new courses on an ongoing basis. By attending these online training courses, customers will gain access to the presentation material.
